KfW Capital is an institutional investor that invests across phases and sectors in venture capital and venture debt funds with a German focus. These funds invest at least the capital contributed by KfW Capital in young, technology-oriented companies that develop innovative ideas, create jobs and secure the basis for future prosperity and growth in Germany and Europe.

Deutschlandfonds

Deutschlandfonds was presented at a press conference in Berlin on 18 December 2025 by Federal Minister of Finance Lars Klingbeil, Federal Minister for Economic Affairs Katherina Reiche and KfW CEO and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of KfW Capital Stefan Wintels.
