Vilena Asarow

Vilena Asarow joined KfW Capital as Manager Corporate Affairs in January 2025. Prior to this, she worked for two years in a group-wide sustainability project with a focus on ESG risk management at KfW. Before that she gained a wide range of experience in various sales and project functions at KfW IPEX-Bank and Commerzbank AG. She obtained her Master of Science in Banking from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management in 2009.

Noah Baum

Noah Baum has been strengthening the KfW Capital team as Manager Corporate Affairs since December 2024. Previously, he worked for over seven years in various roles for Members of the German Bundestag, including as a Research Associate, Personal Advisor, and Press Spokesperson. His most recent focus was on budgetary and financial policy. Noah Baum holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Business Psychology.

Annika D'Avis

Annika D’Avis joined the team in January 2025 as Manager Corporate Affairs. Previously, she worked as a parliamentary assistant of the Berlin House of Representatives. Annika D’Avis holds a Master’s degree in political science and is currently pursuing her doctorate at the University of Marburg.

Profilbild Sauer, Simone

Simone Sauer

Simone Sauer completed a master's degree in Business Ethics and CSR Management, focusing on sustainability and governance at the Technische Universität Dresden and Internationale Hochschul­institut Zittau. Previously, she studied Modern Foreign Languages, Cultures and Economics at the Justus Liebig University in Gießen with a stay abroad in France. In April 2022, she joined KfW Capital as product and stakeholder manager with a focus on support of the supervisory board and sustainability.

Head of Board Office & Corporate Affairs

Eva Weigand

Eva is head of the team Board Office and Corporate Affairs, after having worked as legal counsel for KfW Capital for 4 years. Prior to that, Eva was a disputes lawyer at Hengeler Mueller, advising various financial institutions inter alia on liability issues. She studied Law in Würzburg, Seville and at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LL.M. in International Business Law). Eva passed the German bar exam at the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court of Hamburg.
