Congratulations to Liza Kayser, Corporate Investment Management & Controlling at BMW Group, and Laura Wolfram, in-house lawyer at Universal Investment, on winning a partial scholarship for the CPEA trainings programme.
For the second time, KfW Capital is donating two partial scholarships for women worth EUR 5,000 each for the venture capital track of the "Certified Private Equity Analyst" (CPEA) training programme of BVK and TUM Munich with the "KfW Capital Fellowship Women in VC". The partial scholarships were awarded by Alexander Thees, Managing Director of KfW Capital, and Ulrike Hinrichs, Managing Director of BVK Bundesverband Beteiligungskapital, at the past KfW Capital VC Academy on the subject of "Emerging managers for the VC market". A pleasant fact: this year twice as many women than last year have already applied to take part in the programme!
With the partial scholarships, KfW Capital would like to encourage more women in the VC ecosystem to complete the VC qualification course at the Technical University of Munich and thereby expand their professional skills. The programme is aimed at investment managers, investment professionals from family offices and representatives of institutional investors. It offers a comprehensive qualification for successful involvement in the venture capital and private equity market.
The winners, Liza Kayser and Laura Wolfram, will start the part-time programme in Munich in autumn. We wish them both much success and enjoyment!
