Senior Sustainability Manager

Theresa Bardubitzki

Theresa Bardubitzki is sustainability manager at KfW Capital. As part of her role, she is a member of the Investment Committee and oversees ESG aspects of investments as well as impact measurement over the entire life cycle. In addition, Theresa is responsible for further developing and implementing the internal sustainability strategy and anchoring sustainability projects across KfW. Prior to her role at KfW Capital, she worked at the impact asset manager, Finance in Motion, and DZ Bank AG.

Product- and Stakeholder Manager

Jan-Niklas Hannig

Jan-Niklas Hannig joined KfW Capital as Product and Stakeholder Manager at the beginning of November 2022. Previously, he worked in the product development team for individual financing solutions at KfW. In 2019, he completed his master's degree of Science in Finance at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, during which he already worked in various positions at KfW and KfW IPEX-Bank. Study visits and intern­ships took him to Luxembourg, Sidney and Milan.

Communications Manager

Katja Homburg

Katja Homburg studied business administration with a focus on marketing at the University of Applied Sciences in Mainz. During her studies, she gained experience in marketing and communications through internships at SAP and BASF as well as a working student position at BASF. After successfully completing her Master's degree, she worked in corporate communications at a logistics service provider before joining KfW Capital as Communications Manager in September 2024.

Spokeswoman and Senior Communications Manager

Sonja Höpfner

The German language and literature specialist and trained editor initially worked as a freelance journalist for major newspapers, including the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, before joining KfW in 2001. Since 2003, Sonja was deputy press officer at the promotional bank; in addition to general business issues, she was responsible for communications on the topics of municipal and start-up finance.

Luca Knörzer

Luca Knörzer has studied business administration at the University of Mannheim with exchange semesters in Portugal and Sweden. After various intern and working student positions in start-ups, corporations and consultancies and lastly KfW Capital he has joined the Sustainability Management team as Analyst in November 2023.

Klaus Müller

In his more than 20 years with KfW, the economist headed, among other things, the “Product development/ management Start-ups and Equity Investment” team. As head of the “KfW Investment subsidiary setup” project, Klaus was involved in the development of KfW Capital from the very outset.

Analyst Sustainability Management

Lukas Raue

Lukas Raue started as an analyst in sustainability management in April 2024. Prior to this, he completed a Master's degree in Economics & Institutions with a focus on Finance at the universities of Marburg and Siena. He finished his Bachelor's degree as a double degree in “International Management” at the European School of Business in Reutlingen and the Universidad de las Americas Pueblas in Mexico. Lukas gained practical experience through several internships and student traineeships, including at KfW and GIZ.

Product, Stakeholder and Sustainability Manager

Dr Björn Rock

Björn Rock joined KfW Capital in April 2022 as Product, Stakeholder and Sustainability Manager. Björn completed a dual bachelor's degree as an industrial engineer. During his subsequent master's degree in business administration, he worked as a student trainee in consulting at KPMG AG. Before joining KfW Capital, Björn Rock worked as a research assistant at the Justus Liebig University in Giessen and received his doctorate in the field of "Sustainable Finance".

Shvartser, Konstantin

Konstantin Shvartser

Konstantin Shvartser joined KfW Capital in June 2023 as Product and Stakeholder Manager. Previously, he spent 7 years at KfW IPEX Bank in asset finance. Prior to joining KfW IPEX Bank, he worked in leveraged finance at NIBC Bank. In 2015, he graduated Goethe University as Master of Science in Management (Finance Track).

Sarah Ullmann

Sarah Ullmann studied linguistics at Heinrich Heine University and the University of Malta. During her Master's degree in Intercultural Communication and European Studies, she first completed an internship in KfW's Corporate Communications department and then continued her work as a student trainee. She has been supporting KfW Capital as Communications Manager since July 2024.

Sheera Zamberk

During her German studies at Goethe University in Frankfurt, Sheera Zamberk gained various journalistic experiences as an intern and freelance writer at Handelsblatt, Journal Frankfurt and RTL Hessen. She then completed an internship in KfW's corporate communications department before moving to the communications department at KfW Capital, first as a working student during her master's degree in Art-Media-Cultural Education and, since October 2021, as Communications Manager.
